321. Philippa²³ of HAINAULT (Willem III²⁴ Count of HAINAULT) was born in Valenciennes 24 JUN 1311. Philippa died 14 AUG 1369 in Windsor Castle, at 58 years of age.⁽²⁰⁹⁾ RESEARCH NOTES: Died of the plague. Her body was interred in Westminster Abbey.

She married EDWARD III PLANTAGENET in York Minster, 24 JAN 1328. EDWARD was born in Windsor Castle 13 NOV 1312. EDWARD⁽²¹⁰⁾ was the son of EDWARD II PLANTAGENET and Isabella "The Fair" of France. EDWARD died 21 JUN 1377 in Sheen Palace, at 64 years of age. His body was interred in Westminster Abbey. He was christened in Chapel of St. Edward, Windsor, 17 NOV 1312.
