346. Isabella "The Fair"²⁴ of France (PHILIP IV²⁵, PHILIP III²⁶ CAPET, King of France)⁽²³¹⁾ was born in Paris(?) 1295. Isabella died 22 AUG 1358 in Castle Rising, Norfolk, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred in Grey Friars Church, London.

She married EDWARD II PLANTAGENET in Boulogne, 25 JAN 1308. EDWARD was born in Caernarvon Castle 25 APR 1284. EDWARD⁽²³²⁾ was the son of EDWARD I "Longshanks" PLANTAGENET and Eleanor of CASTILE. EDWARD died SEP 1327 in Berkeley Castle, at 43 years of age.⁽²³³⁾ His body was interred in Gloucester Cathedral. (See EDWARD II PLANTAGENET for the children resulting from this marriage.) Successfully conspired with her lover, Roger Mortimer, to force her husband, King Edward II, to adbicate in favor of his son, who become King Edward III.
