He married twice. He married Marie. He married Isabella of ARAGON. Isabella was the daughter of James I of ARAGON and Yolande ARPAD of HUNGARY. Isabella died 1271.

PHILIP III CAPET, King of France and Isabella of ARAGON had the following children:

+ 386 ii. Charles CAPET, Count of VALOIS.

PHILIP III CAPET, King of France and Marie had the following child:

433 iii. Margaret of France was born in Paris (?) 1279. Margaret died 14 FEB 1317 in Marlborough Castle, at 37 years of age. Her body was interred in Grey Friars Church, London. She married EDWARD I "Longshanks" PLANTAGENET in Canterbury Cathedral, 10 SEP 1299. EDWARD was born in Palace of Westminster 17 JUN 1239. EDWARD⁽²⁹⁵⁾ was the son of HENRY III PLANTAGENET and Eleanor of PROVENCE. EDWARD died 7 JUL 1307 in Burgh-on-the-Sands, near Carlisle, at 68 years of age. His body was interred in Westminster Abbey.
