Kasza - Fox Hunting Kasza, Adiron and Thuy all got to
go fox hunting this weekend. Kasza
didn't stay out long because we helped
another hunt rider, but she showed me
that
she had the confidence to lead the hilltoppers
and not worry about catching up with the
group
in front of us. It was a cold and windy
day and she
was steady and forward. I couldn't ask
for more.
She's got tons of experience standing
at the trailer now. Adiron was a little nervous at the trailer, but she'd
been out enough to know what was going to happen.
Kasza wasn't concerned about all the
other horses. Adiron's little ears kept swiveling as he took everything
in.
Kasza is great about listening to
leg and is quite the bendy horse.
No fidgeting this morning while we
waited for everyone to be saddled and ready.
Out hunting I don't worry about her
softening and rounding up too much..

It was Geordyn's (his owner) first time out hunting on him.

That's Adiron on the left, then Kasza,
then Angel and Wiley with their new owners. Thuy was already up ahead with
the First Flight....
Kasza happily leading the group. It
helped that she knew Angel and that I knew Melanie would be there to help
out if it was needed.
Kasza didn't worry about the group
behind her and
didn't need a lead while we were out.
