Pooka's First Day We think Pooka is a little homesick.
He's with the big horses now, but
they won't buddy up and they keep him
by himself. Amanda came out to spend
some time with him and I think he enjoyed
the attention.
Amanda felt the rain was making Pooka
feel bad, so we put on a rainsheet. It's a little big for him, but he didn't
mind.
I talked Amanda through the lunging
basics. Pooka's good off of voice and she could get him to walk, trot and
halt after a little practice.
Trotting one direction.
And the other.
I'm wondering if we can just take
in the blanket a little to fit him better. The neck part works fine, it
just all hangs too low.
Pooka was nice and never tried to
stop and eat the grass.
