This is what we're working with. She can get resistant in a second and still isn't always sure of what I want.

 

We have responsiveness and forward, now it's just working with a really big body and getting it all balanced and round.

Still, she's fun and reliable.

We put on the side reins to give her a comfort zone. On the lunge she knows what they're for and they helped to bring her into the range where I could start using the reins to talk to her.

She's listening, and engaged, but still not sure if it's what she wants to be doing.

Right now her head goes all over and steering is hit and miss. No problem, it's all worth it when you see her moving and realize how good she'll be one day.
