HENRY died 1 DEC 1135 in St. Denis-le-Fermont, near Gisors, at 67 years of age.(454) RESEARCH NOTES: said to have been poisoned His body was interred in Reading Abbey.

He married three times. He married unknown MISTRESS. He married Matilda (Edith) in Westminster Abbey, 11 NOV 1100. Matilda was born in Dunfermline about 1079. Matilda was the daughter of MALCOLM III "Canmore" and Margaret (Atheling). Matilda died 1 MAY 1118 in Palace of Westminster, at 38 years of age. Her body was interred in Westminster Abbey. He married Adeliza of LOUVAIN in Windsor Castle, 29 JAN 1122. Adeliza was born in Louvain about 1105. Adeliza was the daughter of Godfrey I Duke of LOWER LORRAINE. Adeliza died 23 MAR 1151 in Afflighem, Flanders, at 45 years of age. Her body was interred in Afflighem. King of England 1100-1135
