Richard died 15 APR 1136 at 32 years of age.

He married Adela (Adeliza) deMESCHIN of CHESTER. Adela was the daughter of Ranulf "de Briquessart" deMESCHIN 1st Earl of CHES and Lucia (Lucy) TAILLEBOIS. Adela died 1128.

Richard Fitzgilbert deCLARE, 1st Earl of HEREFORD and Adela (Adeliza) deMESCHIN of CHESTER had the following children:
