The dark wood is a different color
than the railing, built in and floor, but I like the variety.
We still have finish work to do with
the platform risers and we need proper hand rails for the stairs.
You can see the curve very well from
underneath.
The first floor is completely textured.
Eventually it will all be painted. Flooring won't go in for a long time.
We can't do that until the rest of the castle is added on and the roof
is properly flashed to fix the leaks.
The tree doesn't mind living on a bare
floor...
