Third Floor railing
is in
Moving along. We're pretty close to moving
into
the third floor. Curtains and nailing
down some
baseboards and we'll be ready.
It looks like we'll be replacing the construction
wood
stringers with metal stringers. Hopefully
that goes
well and doesn't affect what we've already
done.
Bart's railing choice. He's going
more for gold and black in his room. A little change from blue and silver,
but we adapt to what is available.
Hand forged, or something like that.
Luckily the supplier was local so we didn't have to pay for shipping.
A bit of rust from sitting out in
the garage for a month. Still, that's character.

Plain baseboards. They should match
the Ikea shelving that will hold all of his books.
Spring is here and the trees are leafing
up. We've started thinking of how we'll do the rest of the house remodel.
Pretty soon we should be looking for a builder to help us with that.
